Radiological Institute active since 1925

It was in December 1925 that the Istituto Radiologico Gortan became operative thanks to the determination of Dr. Giorgio Gortan, grandson of the head physician Prof. Massimiliano Gortan, who made the Trieste diagnostic center one of the hubs of excellence in radiology. Dr. Giuliano Gortan continued the brilliant tradition. Today the Istituto Radiologico Gortan is directed by Dr. Giovanni Battista Bellis, who continues to pursue this responsibility with pride and great professionalism.
